The ones tagged FREE are genuinely free for personal use, with no credit card required. Some have paid upgrades, but their free tier is enough for the vast majority of users. We tag CHEAPER for paid alternatives that are at least 30% less than the original, and BEST VALUE for the option we think most people should pick.
How do you decide which alternatives to recommend?
